David Aliata
Regional ICT Generalist, Africa
David Aliata has more than seven years hands-on experience deploying innovative communications networks. He has worked on connectivity projects ranging from private companies, international NGOs to ISP backbones. A methodical network troubleshooter, David is particularly adept at identifying connectivity switching and routing issues. David’s expertise includes the design, installation and support of large networks.
He currently hold a Bachelors of Computer Science and Engineering(Maseno University-Kenya).

Deo Kujirakwinja
Director Eastern DRC Projects
Deo Kujirakwinja manages WCS's Eastern DR Congo Program with projects in Virunga and Kahuzi Biega national parks and the Itombwe and Misotshi-Kabogo massifs. With an MSC in conservation from the University of Cape Town he is also an ornithologist and specialist in hippo surveys.

Andy Plumptre established has been managing WCS's Albertine Rift Program since 2000. One of the few people to have ever visited all of the sites in the Albertine Rift he has been working to conserve the six key landscapes and their biodiversity.
